Lou Sassi’s beautiful HO scale West Hoosic Division of the Boston & Maine has entered the History Books. This was not the chapter Lou planned to write and not the end by any means, yet it is a new beginning for Lou as he moves up a notch to On30. Lou has dismantled his layout and is allowing us to share this wonderful layout. We now have the oprotunity to own a piece of Lou’s 30 year masterpiece. Lou is allowing me to help him share this great hobby with you. Borodino Scale Line has been asked to liquidate rolling stock, vehicles, buildings, details, figures and more. Now is your chance to aquire a piece of history from the WHD. Lou expanded on his own tallents by assembling work from some of the masters of our hobby and let it evolve into a magnificent miniature world.
Here is one scene created by Lou with some Rich Cobb buildings. It became the cover of one of his great scenery books. “How to build Model Railroad Scenes”
Here is a list of items available:
Rolling stock: All cars have KD’s / weathering / extra details which may include: glad hands, etched roof walks, sprung trucks, separate ladders & grab irons etc. None of these are straight out of the box models.
